Presentation of the unique scanning microscope at the Department of Palaeozoology

Department of Palaeozoology of the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the University of Wrocław invites you to the presentation of the scanning electron microscope (TM4000 II by HITACHI), which will be held on 09 February 2023 (Thursday) at the Department of Palaeozoology (room 19A). The equipment will be presented twice: once at 10:00 am and the second time at 1:00 pm.

The presentation will showcase the usage and capabilities of the equipment and how can it be used in ongoing research conducted by academics at the University of Wrocław. Therefore, the staff of the Department of Palaeozoology invites you to the practical demonstration, during which attendees will be able to conduct research. This will help to determine the extent of which the device could be used in aiding of the researchers from different fields of study (such as biology, archaeology, geology, chemistry, physics). The maximum size of the observable objects is: diameter up to 80 mm, height up to 50 mm.
