Changes on teaching at the University of Wrocław

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, prof. Przemysław Wiszewski decided to introduce further changes to reduce the risk of COVID-19 virus transmission.

ORDINANCE No. 200/2021 of the Rector of the University of Wrocław of 3 December 2021 concerning remote teaching at the University of Wrocław in connection with the COVID-19 epidemic situation

Pursuant to Article 23 section 2 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended [Dz. U. z 2021, poz. 478, z późn. zm.]), in accordance with the Act of 2 March 2020 on special solutions related to the prevention, counteraction and eradication of COVID-19, other infectious diseases and crisis situations caused by them (consolidated text Journal of Laws of 2021, item 2095 [Dz. U. z 2021, poz. 2095), it is ordered as follows:

  1. In the period from 6 December 2021 to 9 January 2022, the organisation of classes in remote form in part-time first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, uniform master’s studies and part-time doctoral studies shall be introduced.
  2. In the period from 13 December 2021 to 7 January 2022, deans and heads of non-faculty units may introduce remote teaching in their subordinate units for full-time students of first-cycle, second-cycle and uniform master’s degree programmes.
  3. In the period from 13 December 2021 to 7 January 2022, heads of full-time doctoral programmes and heads of Doctoral School Colleges, in consultation with the relevant dean, may introduce remote training for doctoral students.
  4. This Ordinance is entrusted to the deans, heads of non-faculty units, heads of doctoral studies and heads of Doctoral School Colleges.
  5. The supervision of the implementation of this Ordinance is entrusted to the Vice-Rector for teaching.
  6. This Ordinance comes into force on the day of its signing.
