It is recommended that our students, PhD students, and staff withhold travelling to the regions where there is higher risk of coronavirus SARS-Co-2, as well as to call of any student and staff visits from these regions.

According to the information provided by the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, regions of higher risk are as follows: China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Italy (in particular Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Liguria), Iran, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan.

It is recommended for the educational institutions to consider making a decision related to these people’s situation to, for instance, postpone the date of semester commencement or the date of student exchange to the next term,  or enable distance-learning with the use of new technology used in teleworking and distance learning programs.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW) is continuously monitoring the situation connected with the spread of Coronavirus SARS-Co-2, collaborates with the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, the Foreign Minister, and the Health Secretary, as well as with The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP), the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) – the Erasmus+ National Agency, and  the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA).
