What is the difference between fall 2021 and fall 2020? The number of cases per day is similar and the virus (Delta) is up to four times more contagious than last year's version. This year we have an additional weapon. Vaccinations. People pass the infection more gently thanks to them. And in fact, as a result of vaccination, we can meet again at the university. 80% of our employees have been vaccinated, how many students? We don't know. But we encourage you: get vaccinated! We are doing everything to make it easier for you.

We are starting recruitment for COVID-19 vaccinations – first, second and third doses. What is crucial: if you want to get the third dose, you must be at least 6 months past the second dose and over 50 years old.

The vaccination is available to all students, PhD students and employees at the University of Wrocław. To participate in the vaccination, you must complete the form by 15 October 2021 at 11:59 pm.

When will we vaccinate?

Stationary at Wrocław University Library during the last week of October. However, it is important to fill out the application form beforehand. Based on this information, the Medical University of Wrocław and the University of Wrocław will decide on which days the vaccinations will be held in the University Library.

However, you will have a chance to get vaccinated beforehand. We vaccinate on 1 and 4 October. The next date is on 8 October: between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. a vaccination bus will be situated in front of the main building of the University Library.

We are still determining the dates of vaccinations when the Vaccination Bus will come to the Campus at ul. Koszarowa or the Leopoldina Campus next to the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics.

The Rector’s announcement is available below and on the BIP website(Polish version).
