DŻAMP – recruitment until 8 August
"Dżamp" is a unique student-doctoral camp. Its history is long - there have already been thirteen camps and three 'Weekend Dżamp' trips. It is also the only one of its kind for people with disabilities. "Dżamp" is an initiative of the Association for Equal Access to Education "Your New Opportunities". It is an alternative to student races and adaptation camps. During such events, it is difficult to secure the diverse needs of people with disabilities. Hence the idea of a trip that will give a taste of student life and be adapted to everyone, with no exceptions.
The Student and Doctoral Student Services Team with Disabilities at UWr invites you to participate in the camp. This year’s edition will take place 22-28 August 2022 at the Olimpic Hotel in Ustroń. The programme of the camp includes a series of professional trainings in the field of social competence development and professional development, teamwork, negotiation and mediation, creating one’s own image, managing emotions and stressful situations. The hotel’s facilities include a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and multifunctional sports field. Participants are provided with full board and transport to the venue by an adapted coach.
To attend the camp, you need to:
- step 1: sending an application (filled in and signed, legible scan of the application together with a copy of the disability certificate) to email@example.com by 8 August 2022 (persons applying for the trip with an assistant should write the justification and the name of the assistant in the description of the application) – the condition of participation in the camp is receiving a positive decision from the Rector of the University of Wrocław (the student has the possibility of notifying his/her resignation or the resignation of the assistant until 10 August 2022).
- step 2: recruitment according to the guidelines of the organiser – Association for Equal Access to Education “Twoje Nowe Możliwości” (address of the recruitment office: ul. Grabiszyńska 163, lok. 210-215, 53-493 Wrocław; http://www.dzamp.org)
