At the University of Wrocław sport is just as important as studying. This is demonstrated by good positions of our sections in the Lower Silesian Inter-University League and the Polish Academic Championships.
The University’s athletes train in the following sections: aerobic, badminton, sports bridge, karate, croftball, women’s and men’s basketball, athletics, cross-country running, skiing, snowboard, women’s and men’s football, women’s handball, women’s and men’s swimming, women’s and men’s volleyball, chess, tennis, table tennis, floorball, rowing, and climbing.
Each student may participate in the activities starting with the freshman year. UWr students can select from among 30 different forms of exercise as part of PE classes.
The information on the sports and schedules can be found below. The classes are organised by the University Sports Centre. You can also contact Dominik Wojciechowski, the president of the University Club AZS UWr. Schedules can be accessed via USOSweb, and enrolment takes place via the recruitment system.
