On January 4, 2021 the University Library allows access to the part of its collections in the area of so called Free Access. The book collection, which was previously out of usage due to RFID system implementation in the University Library, is available for the use of students again on two levels of open storages and the Main Reading Room. Please see the Rules of using the collections in Free Access and the way of organizing them on the bookcases. The book collection was placed in subject catalogues, according to the Library of Congress Classification. Due to departmental guidelines and the restrictions during the coronavirus epidemic, the number of people on every level of the Free Access is limited to max. 20. All safety precautions must be taken when staying inside the Wrocław University Library building. There are no previous admissions to use the Free Access. The number of Library users will be managed by a librarian. Using Wi-Fi, individual and group work cabins in Free Access will be possible in the second quarter of 2021. For now we invite you to use individual work cabins in the Main Reading Room and Wi-Fi connection available in all reading rooms and the Wrocław University Library Informatory.

We invite you to use the book collections available in the area of Free Access from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
