Specialist consultations (supervision)

The project will provide specialist consultations for the University of Wrocław employees, addressed to people who have experienced difficult or risky situations at work. During supervision with a psychologist, it will be possible to discuss problems, crises, difficult behaviours that occurred at work and find ways of coping with them. The sessions can help university teachers understand the impact of constraints and behaviours on the nature and quality of the teaching process. Examples of such situations are aggressive behaviour, chronic somatic, mental illness, risky situations.

Consultation on educational support

We will organise specialised consultations in the field of educational support and assessment of educational needs of university candidates and students with disabilities. In the process of educational counselling it will be crucial to assess the needs of the candidate/student resulting from his/her health situation, predispositions and the nature of studies. Establishing these needs is closely related to ensuring equal rights of the student in access to education. These individuals will be made aware of the specifics of their chosen course and individualised support possibilities. People often have no knowledge of the given field of study and during the educational process many problems arise, e.g. with participation in laboratory classes, lectures or passing examinations. It happens that the student is forced to resign from the chosen field of study. Extending the activities of the ZOSDN office to include the issues described above is important from the point of view of the University as an accessible and open university, meeting the needs of people with disabilities.
