The idea to initiate the cooperation originated during the scientific seminars that have been arranged by the Forensic Biology and Entomology Laboratory (PBiES) since November 2019.

The partnership will embrace scientific and didactical projects with the aim to develop forensic sciences, as well as establishing projects aiming to improve the effectiveness of the law enforcement agencies’ operations.

At the UWr, dr hab. inż.[2] Marcin Kadej (the Director of the Forensic Biology and Entomology Laboratory) is responsible for implementation of the plans included in the agreement.

It is the second agreement signed by His Magnificence Rector of UWr on behalf of BPiES. The first such document was approved on November 21, 2019. It involved transfer of knowledge between PBiES and the Forensic Medicine Department of the Wrocław Medical University.
