Our University is the only Polish higher school which belongs to the worldwide exchange network called International Students Exchange Program (ISEP), which brings together 250 universities from all around the world, including 132 American schools.
The University of Wrocław takes part in joint master’s degree programme projects in English under Erasmus Mundus European programme. By taking up studies in this form, students have a chance to be awarded at least two diplomas of the universities belonging to three consortia – European Master Global Studies, MONABIPHOT (Molecular non – and bio – photonics for telecommunications and biotechnologies), and MITRA (Mediation interculturelle: identities, mobilities, conflicts).
Along general co-operation agreements we conclude bilateral agreements under Erasmus+ programme, which allow our students and doctoral students to pursue degree programmes and internships abroad, and give our academic teachers and administrative staff opportunity to go on teaching and training visits.
Each year over 700 students take advantage of this opportunity, choosing one of the 450 European universities with which we have concluded agreements. Participation in Erasmus+ is considered an integral part of the degree programme. One can apply for the grant after completing the first year of studies.
In addition, our students and doctoral students can take part in other exchange programmes, such as DAAD, GFPS, CEEPUS, governmental and Visegrad grants etc. They can spend an entire semester or academic year at a foreign university or on academic internship in an institution of their choice abroad. This period is counted towards their degree.
Detailed information about exchange programmes can be found on the International Office’s website.
