Popularity ranking of fields of study in recruitment 21/22

Dear Candidates! You may be wondering how popular the field of study at the University of Wrocław you want to recruit for from 1 June was in last year’s recruitment. It is worth knowing the popularity ranking of the directions, if only to match your very popular one with a less popular one, but equally interesting for you. You will then have a better chance of becoming a UWr student from October! Therefore, we would like to remind you of last year’s recruitment and popularity rankings of full-time bachelor’s and master’s degree studies in terms of persons per place and the number of registered candidates.

As many as 29,239 student registrations and 17240 candidates were recorded in the IRK Internet Candidate Registration System at midnight on 8-9 July 2021 – the time when recruitment for full-time bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in last year’s recruitment ended. Psychology – the undisputed winner of this race has as many as 3280 registrations in the system, which means that as many as 32 people fought for one place on this faculty. There are also 32 applicants per place for Korean Studies, which is due not so much to the high number of registrations for this course (508) as to the low limit of places (16). The top of the most popular majors in terms of registration remains the same: psychology, law, image communication, economics, journalism and social communication, English studies, computer science, genetics and experimental biology, biotechnology, Spanish studies.
