On 16 October, the Angelus Central European Literary Award and the Silesius Poetry Award were presented. The Silesius Award in the "Debut of the Year" category went to Dr. Aleksander Trojanowski, who works at the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of Wrocław, for his volume entitled "Parkingi podziemne jako miasta spotkań" ("Underground car parks as meeting cities"). Dr. Anna Ursulenko from the Institute of Slavic Studies (together with Marcin Gaczkowski) was nominated for the Angelus Award for her translation of Volodymyr Rafiejenko's "Najdłuższe czasy" ("The Longest Days").
