EUROPA HORIZON Programme

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA Actions):MSCA Doctoral Networks: competition for 4-year projects submitted by international consortia to train doctoral students to become creative and entrepreneurial scientists. No subject restrictions. Application deadline: 16 November 2021
rMSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships: individual travel research and training grants for researchers with a doctoral degree and no more than 8 years of experience since obtaining it; no subject restrictions; deadline for applications: 12 October 2021.

The only EU financial instrument dedicated exclusively to co-financing projects in the field of environmental protection, including nature and human impact on climate and adaptation to climate change. The call for proposals is carried out in sub-programmes: Nature and Biodiversity, Closed Economy and Quality of Life, Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, Clean Energy Transition. Deadlines for applications are set depending on the type of project and the sub-programme.For applicants interested in the LIFE programme, the European Commission is organising a virtual Q&A session on the morning of 8-9 September.
National Science Centre:
POLONEZ BIS – announcement of the competition. POLONEZ BIS Programme is co-financed by the European Commission and the National Science Centre under the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND grant. The competition is addressed to experienced foreign scientists who will move to Poland for 24 months to conduct basic research in public or private institutions of their choice. The programme guarantees the Interns full-time employment and additional funds for conducting their own research projects in any scientific discipline.
Solar-Driven Chemistry 2021
NCN, in collaboration with the Solar-Driven Chemistry network, invites applications for funding of international research projects in the new edition of the Solar-Driven Chemistry Call 2021. Topics of the current call include issues related to the photochemical transformation of small molecules (e.g. water, carbon dioxide, nitrogen) into more complex systems under the influence of sunlight. Applications for funding are invited from international consortia consisting of at least two research teams from at least two countries participating in the competition: Finland, France, Germany, Poland, Switzerland or Turkey. Deadline for submission of joint pre-proposals (elan): 29 October 2021.
