Professional assistance in looking for a job and contacting employers is provided to students by the University’s Career Office. Every day the Office posts new job, placement and internship offers on its website.
Students can learn about the labour market at meetings with employers and the Job and Internship Fair ‘Kampus Kariery’, which is regularly held by the Career Office. Such meetings are an opportunity for students to ask about the work with a company or the recruitment process, and – more importantly – to submit their application to the employer’s representative in person. Students can also participate in workshops and training courses held by the Career Office in cooperation with employers. During such events, students develop their soft skills and acquire knowledge about the labour market.
The programmes: ‘4 Kroki do Kariery’ (Four steps to career) and ‘Mentoring dla studentów UWr’ (Mentoring for students of Wrocław University) have always proved hugely popular. Every year, both are attended by students motivated to take action and to develop their competences needed in applying for a job.
The Career Office also helps students to draft their individual career paths, to choose second-cycle programmes of study and to assess their chances of success on the labour market. They offer coaching sessions, job interview simulations and Assessment Centre sessions.
The Career Office of Wrocław University is located at Kuźnicza Street 49A (Phone number: +48 71 375 21 31, +48 71 375 21 34, E-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org).
The opportunities and support offered by Wrocław University are best attested to by the careers of our staff and graduates.
