The Jan Józef Lipski Master’s Thesis Competition

The Open Republic Association (Stowarzyszenie Otwarta Rzeczpospolita) announced the 27th edition of the Jan Józef Lipski Master’s Thesis Competition.

The aim of the competition is to select the best master’s thesis in the field of humanities and social sciences on phenomena ranging from the nineteenth century to the present day, the subject of which is close to the research interests and social activity of the patron of the competition; these are areas such as: history and theory of literature, knowledge of contemporary culture, Varsaviana, recent history, society and politics, discrimination and tolerance and stereotypes – cultural, psychological and linguistic aspects.

The right to submit works for the competition is granted to supervisers or reviewers as well as authors, provided they are approved by the promoter or reviewer. Works that have been defended in 2021 and received a 4 grade or higher may be submitted to the competition.

Deadline for submitting works: 15 February 2022.
