The 1st International Conference on Ground Penetrating Radar Applications for Solving Engineering Problems will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, on November 21-22.
Ground Penetrating Radar has a wide range of applications and the majority of commercial surveys are undertaken to assist solve engineering problems, whether it be locating buried infrastructure, hazard assessment or structural investigations. This conference aims to bring together engineers, scientists and GPR users from a wide range of disciplines to present how the results of GPR surveys have guided the approach to resolving various engineering problems (and in: geology, mining, archaeology, architecture, police, army, forestry or agriculture).
Papers or poster are invited to following topics related to GPR: Archaeology & Forensic, Geology & Mining, Utility detection & Mapping, Contamination, Roads. Railways & Tunnels, Structural Engineering, concrete.
The conference language will be English.
Abstracts in English (500 – 1000 words, up to 4-6 pages in WORD format, Including 2 figures in colour), will be published in Conference Abstracts and In digital format by EuroGPR and accessed via the EuroGPR website. We expect Information about experience from GPR and the existing needs of GPR users. The scientific committee will review submissions and corresponding authors Will be notified on the acceptance, revision or rejection of paper. The best paper or poster presented by a young scientist will be awarded. Poster format: A0.
AN INVITATION TO WROCLAW
Wroclaw is on the Lower Silesia in South-West part Poland and is easily accessible from all European destinations by flight, train, bus or car. The conference venue is on Wroclaw Old Town in the „European Assembly Hall” of the new building of the Law Institute University of Wroclaw. On the ground floor of this building is an self-service restaurant.
