W konkursie ciągłym na „Wsparcie publikacyjne na światowym poziomie” w ramach programu „Inicjatywa Doskonałości – Uczelnia Badawcza”, pracownicy Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego oraz doktoranci UWr mogą ubiegać się o sfinansowanie swoich publikacji, które afiliowane są na UWr. Prócz finansowania publikacji w wiodących zagranicznych wydawnictwach i czasopismach, konkurs daje również możliwość sfinansowania korekt językowych, a w przypadku monografii także tłumaczeń. Szczegółowe zasady aplikowania znajdują się na stronie konkursu.

W IV kwartale 2020 r. oraz w pierwszych trzech kwartałach 2021 r. zostały sfinansowane 73 publikacje oraz do 29 publikacji z środków konkursu zostały pokryte koszty korekt językowych lub tłumaczeń.
